Religion curiosity
Assalamu alaikum. I have a question that's been on my mind. Recently I've been reading about Buddhism, and I really like many of its ideas. To me, it seems more like a mindset or a spiritual journey focused on becoming a better person and finding peace in this life than a religion. Is it halal for a Muslim to follow those teachings if they don't contradict Islam, or is following Buddhism as a way of life not permissible? JazakAllahu khayran.
