Reason for creation
Assalamualikum Sheikh. I have always heard that Allah has created us so that we, humans, worship Him and that Allah does not need our worship to Him. If He does not need/want our worship to him, what is the purpose of even creating us? Like I get He created us so that we would worship him but if Allah never created us, we would've never existed and never thought about Allah or done anything haram. And since Allah doesn't need our worship, it wouldn't matter to Him if we never existed in the first place? Why did Allah make us if he never wanted/needed anything from us in the first place because He is everything? Does He just want to watch us suffer or live as He rules over us? Like a dictator in a way that doesn't control us in the world but exists and controls what happens to us without actually existing in the real world. I don't get the reason for our existence.
