Question About having feelings for a Muslim Woman as a Non-Muslim

Assalamu Alaikum Shaykh, I have a question about relationships in Islam. I’m not religious, but I’ve developed genuine feelings for a Muslim girl. From what I understand, dating is haram and a Muslim woman traditionally cannot marry a non-Muslim man. I’m conflicted because pursuing a future with her could mean converting, but I don’t want to convert just for a relationship rather than genuine belief. How should I approach this situation, and is it permissible for us to get to know each other romantically?
