Question about forgiveness and day of judgment
Assalamu Alaikum Akhi Ayman. I have a question that I’ve been thinking about a lot. If I have hurt someone in the past, both verbally and physically, but I can’t find them anymore to apologize and ask for their forgiveness, what can I do? On the Day of Judgment, can Allah protect my good deeds from being taken because of what I did to them, or can they still take my good deeds? Also, if I forgive people who have hurt me, will Allah show me mercy and forgive me for the people I have hurt? And if I give charity on behalf of the people I hurt and harmed. Would that help me make things right with Allah and with them? I really regret what I did and I want to fix it as much as I can. One of the people that I’m trying to apologize to is ingrnoring me and refused to apologize if I give charity on behalf of him and for what I stole from him which was like a key toy or something will he not be able to take my good deeds because I tried to get his forgiveness and gave charity?
