My trousers accidentally came into contact with a dog’s fur
Salam, Shaykh.
I am currently in England. While walking outside, my trousers accidentally came into contact with a dog’s fur. I am unsure whether the fur was wet or dry. I have since placed the trousers in a separate plastic bag, away from my other clothes, and am considering throwing them away.
I would like to ask:
1) Are my trousers still considered pure (tahir)?
2) Can I still wear them for Salah (prayer)?
3) If the trousers are no longer considered pure and cannot be worn for Salah, is there a way to purify them so that they can be used for Salah again?
4) It is difficult to find soil or dust here if these are required for purification. Would throwing the trousers away be the right thing to do?
