My dream is to be a singer (Inspired by Faouzia

Assalamu Alaikum Shaykh, I am a 16-year-old girl, and my dream is to become a singer and songwriter. I would like to get a clear confirmation regarding the Islamic perspective on this. From what I understand, singing is permissible as long as the lyrics do not contain inappropriate words or lead people down a bad path. As an artistic reference, I look up to the Moroccan-Canadian singer Faouzia, and I would love to follow a similar career path. Is this allowed? Additionally, I would like to know if playing musical instruments is permissible in Islam. Thank you I look forward to your guidance.
