Is Music Haram?
Assalamu alaikum, Sheikh. I am 16 years old; I perform the five daily prayers and try to avoid committing sins. However, I work as a video editor for clients, and the videos require background music. I have read in Hadiths that music is considered *haram* (forbidden). I also create edits for my profile to serve as a portfolio, and these videos contain music. Should I delete them and work in a different field? Please help me with this matter.
