Is it permissible to pray for an event to happen at a specific time?
Is it permissible to pray for something to happen at a specific time/ duration For example if I pray that "Ya Allah make it easy for me to enter university right after results come out during the upcoming intake". Since I heard it is not permissible to ask for something to happen at a specific time like today or tomorrow i was wondering if it is okay if it is in a duration form. Also if i just add to that "in kana khayran li" will it make it better (incase it is not permissible)

Yes, it is permissible to ask Allah for something within a specific time frame. There is no authentic evidence prohibiting du‘ā’ for something to happen today, tomorrow, or by a particular time. The Prophet ﷺ taught that a person’s du‘ā’ is answered so long as they do not ask for something sinful or become impatient, saying: “I made du‘ā’, but I was not answered.” (Sahih Muslim) The issue is demanding that Allah follow our timetable or losing faith if it does not happen. Adding “in kāna khayran lī”—“if it is good for me”—is excellent and reflects the spirit of istikhārah, and the better way to go about it. So ask specifically, hope confidently, but trust Allah with the final outcome and timing. Sometimes Allah answers the exact request; sometimes He protects you through the delay; and sometimes He gives you something better.
