Is it permissible to never marry?
Assalamu Alaikum Sheikh, I am a woman and I wanted to know is it permissible to never get married? I don't want to have sex or to be with a man, and I never really had any romantic thoughts or wanted to be with someone else like that. Thinking about it + the pressure from family is making me very uncomfortable. However, I am worried that this would leave my faith incomplete in some way (to never have children, never share a life with another believer...). I myself feel good about my relationship with Allah and my own path in my faith, but it is also hard to navigate it as a young woman. What does the religion say about this? Thank you
