Hadith Question
Assalam O Alaikum Sheikh, I hope you are doing well. I know there is a hadith where you get good deeds for killing a house gecko, and I heard this stems from the lizard from the past that did wrong with a Prophet. But just because someone did something wrong, that does not mean we punish their son right? So why do we get good deeds for striking geckos when it was one gecko that did something wrong thousands of years ago?
