Effect of Salah Tawbah

Assalamu’alaikum, Sheikh. I have a question.Every time I perform Salat Tawbah (the Prayer of Repentance), I seem to get sick afterward. The first time, I developed a high fever. The next time, after praying, I was involved in a motorcycle accident. Then, after praying again recently, I ended up with a gum infection.I know that illness can be a means of expiating sins, so perhaps these are simply coincidences. However, if you could explain whether there is any Islamic perspective on why this seems to happen, I would really appreciate it.Jazakallahu khayran.
