Cheese from tripe yeast : Halal or not?
Assalamalaikum Sheik, I just have a little question. As you know, yeast is used in cheese. This yeast can be natural, but it can also be made from an animal (tripe yeast). Is it halal to eat the cheese where only a yeast from the beef is used? There are differing opinions on this matter, for exemple halal because this is a little bit and this is not the meat of the animal or haram because the animal is still used. What’s your opinion Sheik?
