Assalamualaikum shaykh
I have a question regarding a school Navratri celebration. If a Muslim girl wants to wear a traditional Navratri outfit, take pictures of herself and with her friends, and then return home, without participating in Garba, dancing, puja, or any religious rituals, is this permissible in Islam?
Her only intention is to dress up and take photographs, not to participate in religious activities.
**What is the Islamic ruling on this according to the Qur’an, authentic Hadith, and recognised Islamic scholars?** Please provide authentic references.
