Assalam o alekum sheikh.
I have a question regarding a relationship that is intended for marriage. There is a girl whom I sincerely intend to marry, and both our parents are aware of our intentions. We have known each other for about two years.Until marriage becomes possible, is it permissible in Islam for us to communicate through messages/chats in a respectful and controlled manner, while avoiding anything inappropriate, romantic, or sinful? Our goal is to keep everything halal and protect our intention of marriage.What are the Islamic boundaries and conditions that we should follow in this situation?JazakAllah-u-Khairan.And if possible, please make dua for us that Allah keeps our intentions pure, protects us from anything displeasing to Him, and, if it is best for our deen and duniya, unites us in a blessed and halal marriage Ameen.
