Are Credit cards are halal?

I just opened a credit card thinking that I only use it for credit card points and pay my money back in time so no interest happens. but I just searched up online and it says some scholars see is as impermissible at all because opening a credit card invloves agreeing to a deal which is haram! please help me to be sure! because being in doubt makes me think its haram!
